Terms of Service

By accessing or using the GeoIPHub website (geoiphub.com), the GeoIPHub API, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you (the “Customer”) and GeoIPHub (“we”, “us”, “our”).

GeoIPHub provides a developer-focused REST API that returns IP intelligence data including geolocation, ASN/ISP information, VPN/proxy/Tor detection, threat indicators, WHOIS, reverse DNS, and fraud risk scoring.

Access to the Service is provided through subscription plans described on our pricing page. Each plan has a daily request quota and a defined set of response fields.

You must register an account to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and for any activity performed using them. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You may not share, resell, or sublicense your API keys without our prior written consent.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Build or distribute a service that competes directly with GeoIPHub by re-packaging its data.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract bulk datasets beyond what your plan's daily quota permits.
• Use the Service in connection with stalking, harassment, or surveillance of individuals.
• Interfere with the Service's infrastructure (e.g., DDoS, rate-limit evasion via key rotation, fingerprint spoofing).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without refund.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or yearly basis through our third-party payment processor. Card details are entered directly into the payment processor's checkout and are not stored on our infrastructure.

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing dashboard.

Pricing is in U.S. Dollars (USD). We may change prices upon 30 days' notice; price changes will not affect your current billing period.

All payments are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and your plan stays active until that date. We do not issue partial or pro-rata refunds for unused time. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service except where a written Service Level Agreement (SLA) is in place (typically Business and Enterprise plans). Free and Starter plans are provided on a best-effort basis.

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described there.

GeoIPHub aggregates and classifies IP-level metadata from public sources. The Service does not knowingly process the personal data of identifiable individuals — IP addresses queried via the API are processed solely to return classification results.

The Service, including its software, data feeds, classifications, scoring algorithms, and documentation, is owned by GeoIPHub or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your subscription plan.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IP intelligence data is probabilistic. We do not warrant that classifications, scores, or geolocation results are 100% accurate. You are responsible for any decisions made using the Service's output.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEOIPHUB'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100.

IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and emailing support@geoiphub.com for account deletion.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or risk to the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least 30 days before taking effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Lahore, Pakistan, except where binding arbitration is required by your local consumer-protection law.
