Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Summary
You can cancel your GeoIPHub subscription anytime from your billing dashboard. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — you keep all paid features through that date, and your card is not charged again.
All payments are non-refundable. We do not issue partial or pro-rata refunds for unused time within a billing period.
2. How Cancellation Works
- Cancel anytime from app.geoiphub.com → Billing → Cancel subscription.
- Your subscription enters a “cancel-at-period-end” state. The plan stays active and you keep all features until the renewal date displayed on your billing page.
- On the renewal date, the subscription ends and your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan. No further charges are made.
- You can resume the subscription at any time before the renewal date and avoid the downgrade.
3. Non-Refundable Charges
Once a payment has been charged, it is non-refundable. This includes:
- Monthly subscription payments — including the current month if you cancel mid-period.
- Yearly subscription payments — no pro-rata refund is issued for cancellation before the term ends.
- Renewals that have already been processed.
- Charges associated with accounts suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
- Setup fees, professional services, and one-time charges.
4. Failed or Duplicate Charges
If you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate payment, a charge after cancellation, or a billing system bug — contact billing@geoiphub.com within 30 days of the charge with your transaction ID. We will investigate and refund verified erroneous charges.
5. Service Outages
Customers on a plan with a written Service Level Agreement (Business and Enterprise tiers) may be entitled to service credits if uptime falls below the SLA. Credits are applied to future invoices and are not refunded as cash. See your plan's SLA for details.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us at billing@geoiphub.com before initiating a chargeback. Most billing questions can be resolved within one business day. Chargebacks filed without a prior support attempt may result in immediate suspension of your account.
7. Statutory Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer (not a business) in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive. This right is waived once you start using the digital service (i.e., make your first API request); the checkout displays this notice before you confirm payment.
8. How to Cancel
- Sign in at app.geoiphub.com.
- Open the Billing page.
- Click “Cancel subscription”.
- Confirm. Your subscription is now scheduled to end at the renewal date — you keep access until then.
If you cannot access your account, email billing@geoiphub.com from the address on file with your full name and the last four digits of the card used. We will process the cancellation within 3 business days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before taking effect, and existing subscriptions continue under the policy in force at the time of purchase.
